Quarks have different flavours.

Type	Generation	Energy	Mass
up down	first	low - up quark: 2 million electron volts	lightest
strange charm	second	higher	higher
bottom top	third	highest - top quark: 170 billion electron volts	heaviest

The bottom and top quarks were only found in 1995.

1999 Anton Zeilinger and his team at the University of Vienna found that buckyballs (60 carbon atoms) had properties of both waves and particles, a distinctly quantum trait.

2011 Stefan Gerlich, Sandra Eibenberger, Mathias Tomandl, Stefan Nimmrichter, Klaus Hornberger, Paul J. Fagan, Jens Tüxen, Marcel Mayor & Markus Arndt find 430 atom molecules which teleport.

Tunneling - when a particle manages to get where it shouldn't be, like through a barrier.

The sun is only 10 x 10⁶ K but in order for fusion to take place the temperature would have to be 15 x 10⁹ K. But we know fusion occurs so how can it? The two nucleii get close together, but then they don't have the energy to get close enough but that's ok because they tunnel to get to each other.
